How does Obamacare affect you?

Medicare

You may be eligible for a Medicare Advantage Plan, which is a type of coverage offered by private companies that contract with Medicare to provide both Part A and Part B coverage. These plans include HMOs, PPOs, private fee-for-service plans, special needs plans, and medical savings account plans. Most plans offer prescription drug coverage.
Also known as Medicare supplements, Medigap insurance is sold by private companies and can pay some costs not covered by Medicare, such as co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles. They may also offer additional benefits like coverage for travel outside of the U.S. Note that Medigap policies are different than Medicare Advantage Plans.
